Trump vetoes defense spending bill, says it's 'gift' to China and Russia, lacks Section 230 reforms

The very idea that Trump wanted to reform Section 230 is such a joke. Basically he was calling for all social media companies to be held responsible for anything their users posted - it would basically kill the internet as we know it, and stop the free flow of information, all because he got his feelings hurt by people posting on Twitter.

Trump needs to go now.

This is really nice to see.

One word of warning - if you click "Accept" or allow analytics, and then disallow analytics, cookies from the analytics company who shall not be named (but it starts with a G) will remain set.

Tracking your clicks/etc. won't, but it's just something to keep in mind.

Yeah, these are a total waste of money, but there are people who really need to show that they have the latest and greatest Apple schwag. Also, they definitely sound terrible.

Because you have 32 bit apps and you've upgraded to the latest version os MacOS that can't run them.

Apple's transition to 64-bit technology is now complete. Starting with macOS Catalina, 32-bit apps are no longer compatible with macOS.

Why would you buy into the .net framwork? Linux has several caches that out perform NChache, Memcahed, Redis, etc.

Linux drives most of the internet - why pay for something you can get for free.

Just say no to microsoft.

The FCC is claiming that when both segments ran they were hit by a DDoS attack.

How in the hell is that possible? Maybe the FCC has complete inadequate servers or doesn't know the difference between actual/real traffic and a DDos.

Certainly that can't be it, can it?

re: Microsoft unveils $999 Surface Laptop running Windows 10 S (theverge.com) submitted by hal9000

It's totally over priced for what it is.

Yes Windows 10 Pro is free until the end of the year, so that's nice.

As for Windows 10S - it's dead to me because it won't let you change the default browser from Edge or the search provider from Bing.

Seriously Microsoft? Didn't actions like this land you in court in the 90s?
