I actually think this is a brilliant idea.
Hosts should get a week, just like SNL, but they host every night.
The rating for something like "Comedy Central with ________" would get amazing ratings if you like the host...
It could be a showcase for comedians, actors, etc. that no ones knows.

Think SNL hosts, but they get a week to work with the writers and bring their own spin to the show.
They just need their Lorne Michaels.
