Really great article about how the GOP used Facebook and Twiter ads to micro target the US electorate, and how their now setting up hundreds of "local" (fake) news sites across the country to combat local TV news - sites like waterlootimes, waterlootimes.com, or nothwest wayne news.
A simple way to get an entire list of these fake sites just do a google for "This site is one of hundreds nationwide to inform citizens about news in their local communities." - it's the same line in every one of these site's "about us" pages.
