Love the movies or cinema or films? How about cinematography, production deals, or trailers? This is the headcycle to talk about movies.
"We live in a box of space and time. Movies are windows in its walls. They allow us to enter other minds, not simply in the sense of identifying with the characters, although that is an important part of it, but by seeing the world as another person sees it."
-- Roger Ebert
I love documentaries, so when this came out I was extremely excited...then I saw it.
I can't really describe how bizarre, depressing, and beautiful this is - but I will say you'll look at humans a little differently after seeing it and understand how the filmmakers got their subjects to be in it.
Just as a tease - from the IMDB page:
A documentary which challenges former Indonesian death-squad leaders to reenact their mass-killings in whichever cinematic genres they wish, including classic Hollywood crime scenarios and lavish musical numbers.
Those leaders rose to the challenge and played along.
This flick is defintely not for the faint of heart but for anyone who really likes great documentaries it's must see.
