O.k. it's real. The Trump administration just made America great again by bringing it up to the standards of...Syria (and they're in the middle of a civil war). Nicaragua is the only other country that isn't in the Paris Climate agreement because they thought it wasn't stringent enough.

It seems Elon Musk is keeping his promse.

Even if Trump hadn't acted unilaterally on this the Republicans and more Democrats than you would think probably would not have ratified the accord.

This reminds me a little bit of how the US treated the Kyoto Protocol
